MOFAD Celebrates Black History Month at Pier 57

MOFAD is thrilled to partner with Pier 57 to celebrate Black History Month by displaying our Legacy Quilt for public viewing. Consisting of 406 squares, The Legacy Quilt honors the countless African Americans chefs, farmers, inventors, and innovators, who have laid the foundation for American cuisine.

To see the quilt in-person, head to Pier 57 through the main entrance at 11th Avenue (between Little Island & Chelsea Piers, next to City Winery). The Legacy Quilt will be on display until mid-March. More information here.
