In collaboration with the 2026 Black Women in Comedy Laff Fest, the critically acclaimed Drunk Black History show returns to the Museum of Food and Drink to highlight unsung Black pioneers in the culinary and hospitality industries! This isn’t your typical history lesson. Expect laughs, unexpected twists, and fascinating facts about how Black culture has shaped what we eat and drink today.

Brandon Collins is the producer and host of “Drunk Black History”. He is a comedian, screenwriter, and producer who has hosted numerous critically acclaimed shows and podcasts, including “Comedy Outliers” and the Rotten Tomatoes accredited “Medium Popcorn” podcast.

Shoshana Guy
Shoshana Guy is an Emmy Award-winning and Peabody Award-winning television producer and journalist who served as showrunner and executive producer of the acclaimed documentary series "The 1619 Project." Born in British Columbia, Canada to a Jewish mother and African American father, she holds a Master's in Journalism from Columbia University and spent over a decade working in television news as both a producer and correspondent, including time at NBC News where she produced for Tom Brokaw and worked on Rock Center with Brian Williams. Her work covers criminal justice, poverty, race, military affairs, and international issues, and she's also known for producing "High on the Hog: How African American Cuisine Transformed America."

Mugga Phoenix
Mugga Phoenix, a Brooklyn native, is known for bringing a great sense of comedy to her dramatic roles. Her journey began at a young age where she studied acting with such instructors as Tracey Moore, Joanna Beckson, Paul Calderon, and more. On a dare, she tried her hand at stand-up comedy. It didn't take long for her to catch the eye of Def Comedy Jam scout Bob Sumner. She quickly received a slew of high-profile stand-up gigs which gave her a big break onto the comedy scene. (These included DEF COMEDY JAM, SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO, BET'S COMIC VIEW 3X, and BBC'S CLUB CLASS.) Mugga has also appeared in high-profile TV shows such as Bull, Power, Homeland, Blue Bloods, High Maintenance, and many more.

Omalolu “OJ” Fiki is a first-generation Nigerian-American actor, stand-up comedian, and writer/creator with an MFA from UCSD, performing across stage and screen. She’s also the trusted voice you’ve heard in 60+ national commercials, video games, and animation — sometimes even the one in your PlayStation or Xbox telling you to press “X.” She acts, she writes, she jokes — sometimes all at once. Drawing from her first-gen identity and lived experiences, she creates material that’s sharp, cultural, and deeply personal.
