Learn about the history of New York City street food vending and the city’s incredible street food entrepreneurs at this conversation in celebration of MOFAD’s latest exhibition, Street Food City!

Deputy Director of the Street Vendor Project Carina Kaufman-Gutierrez will be joined by journalist Priya Krishna and other guests to discuss the current state of street food vending in the city. Kaufman-Gutierrez will outline the hard-fought legislation that has finally reformed vending in the city — securing an expansion of vending licenses, creating a division of Street Vendor Assistance, and ensuring a streamlined release of new licensing.
